Compassionate Deceased
Estate Support
When you book a session with us, you’ll get:
- Practical hands-on assistance
- Compassionate guidance and support
- A calm, respectful presence during a difficult season
- Training in systems and routines if ongoing organisation is needed
- Help coordinate and deliver donations to local charities (within what fits in our car)
Every family and every estate is unique, so while we’d love to promise exactly how much can be achieved in a single session, it depends on a few things — the size of the estate, the volume of belongings, and the pace you’re comfortable working at.
From our experience, it generally takes 1–2 sessions to thoughtfully declutter and organise a single room or space.

Frequently Asked Questions
Planning & Timing
How soon after a loved one’s passing should we start decluttering their estate?
There’s no right or wrong time. Some families want to start quickly, while others need more time before they feel ready. We’ll work with you whenever you’re prepared and at a pace that feels comfortable.
Do you work directly with executors or solicitors handling the estate?
Yes. If you’re working with an executor or solicitor, we can liaise with them to ensure the entire property clearance process aligns with the estate’s legal and practical requirements.
What if I live interstate or overseas? Can you manage the entire process without me?
Yes, we can coordinate directly with executors or other family members and keep you updated throughout the process. We’ll discuss these arrangements during your initial enquiry.
Family Support & Decision-Making
Can you help if family members disagree about what to keep?
Yes. We understand these situations can be sensitive. While we won’t make decisions for you, we create a calm, respectful space and offer gentle guidance to help families work through differences.
Do you help with valuing items or arranging appraisals?
While we don’t provide valuations ourselves, we can connect you with trusted appraisers and auction houses, and assist with preparing items for sale or distribution if needed.
Do you handle sensitive documents or personal papers?
Absolutely. We treat all documents with complete confidentiality. We can help identify important papers and provide secure solutions for storing, shredding, or archiving them.
Logistics & Donations
Can you coordinate rubbish removal or large-item disposal?
Yes. While we don’t remove bulk waste ourselves, we can organise skip bins, rubbish removal services, or charity pickups as needed.
Can you manage donations directly with charities?
Yes, we can assist with donating items from your loved one’s property to local charities. Where possible, we deliver smaller donations ourselves, and for larger items, we coordinate pickups directly with the charities.
Do you provide packing and storage solutions for items we want to keep?
Yes. We can carefully pack keepsakes, arrange appropriate storage boxes, and assist with temporary or long-term storage solutions if required.
Is this service available outside Melbourne?
We primarily service Melbourne and surrounding suburbs, but if you’re located further afield, we’re happy to discuss your needs and explore possible options.
