Kids NDIS Decluttering Sessions
Reclaiming Spaces, Empowering Lives
Our kids’ NDIS decluttering sessions are an essential part of empowering children to develop skills in independence. Designed to support children with disabilities and their carers under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), our sessions are more than just tidying up. We work to understand your child, and your household, to provide strategies as well as hands-on decluttering and organising support. We work with you to create a space that is free from the overwhelm of clutter, and help develop habits and systems that are maintainable.
We’re a team of experienced professional organisers, supporting clients dealing with a range of psychosocial and physical disabilities, working within the NDIS guidelines. We’ve worked with kids and adults facing challenges like autism, ADHD, acquired brain injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder, visual impairment, chronic diseases, multiple sclerosis, OCD, anxiety disorder, and depression, just to name a few.
We understand the importance of home organisation and a clutter-free environment for self-regulation, sleep, routine building, and general well-being. That’s why our practical, tailored decluttering sessions are specifically designed to accommodate the needs and preferences of NDIS participants and NDIS plan goals.

The Value of Decluttering Sessions for Your Child
Are you curious about how decluttering sessions can benefit kids? Let’s take a closer look at
how these sessions can make a real difference in children’s lives.
Building Independence
Living in a messy and cluttered home makes it significantly harder for children to develop independent skills like getting dressed, brushing teeth, showering, making breakfast, unstacking the dishwasher, making their bed etc. Creating functional spaces and safe environments is key to successful family relationships
Improved Family Relationships
Getting ready for the day can be stressful for both parents and children. Having morning routines and organised spaces will help children find what they need and build independence while reducing conflict.
Improved Accessibility
A clutter-free environment frees children to easily find and access their belongings, making daily activities, family routines and therapies more streamlined and efficient.
Enhanced Independence and Confidence
As children see the positive results of their efforts, their confidence grows, and they develop a sense of ownership and pride in their spaces. This newfound independence and confidence extend beyond their living spaces and can positively impact other areas of their lives, such as taking on responsibilities with family chores, pet care and self-care activities.
Increased Calm
A clutter-free environment promotes a sense of calm, as well as reduces visual and sensory overload, allowing children to focus and concentrate better on their tasks and activities. By creating an organised and relaxing space, we create a foundation for a more balanced and peaceful daily routine, which can contribute to improved overall well-being and family life.
