Customer Service and Sales Representative

Position Description 

JOB TITLE: Customer Service & Sales Representative

JOB TYPE: Casual employment 10 – 18 Hours per week over 3 days

LOCATION: Work from home

REMUNERATION: $32 per hour plus 10% superannuation

At The Art of Decluttering, our sales team is the cornerstone of our success. We’re seeking a qualified customer service and sales representative to answer client enquiries and help us sell the services and products that our clients need to gain freedom in their homes. 

The customer service & sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at building relationships, empathy and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating and problem solving skills, and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. For this reason, it is integral that you are friendly, empathetic and well-informed in your approach.


To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport  and empathy with both customers and team members.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics with a  commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Confidence on the phone.
  • High data entry skills within sophisticated CRM system and Google Drive (Active Campaign experience preferred).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to retain and recall important information.
  • Ability to dynamically problem solve with a focus on people centred solutions.
  • Capacity to work independently, proactively and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High aptitude for following communication guidelines, processes, procedures and policies.
  • Stable internet connection and phone.


This role is customer-focused, these will be your daily responsibilities:

 

Managing incoming calls and email enquiries.

Managing sales pipeline from initial enquiry right through to customer survey follow up, including emails and tasks within Active Campaign.

Answering detailed sales enquiries with the ability to ask very personal and direct questions with empathy and understanding without judgement with a wide variety of people, including those with physical and mental disabilities.

Matching clients with the right Declutter Coach/s in regards to availability, location and temperament.

Scheduling client appointments and calendar management.

Rescheduling postponed client appointments and client rebooks.

Obtaining deposits from clients.

Keep records of customer interactions, liaising with our Declutter Coaches and finance when needed. 

Following up clients to assess client satisfaction and rebooking clients.

Handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives and making recommendations to management.


This is an excellent opportunity for people looking for
casual work within school hours which will build up over time. You must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
